Time to buy a new ereader? Make it a Nook and you will get some readable ebooks with it – for free.
While stocks last (hmmmm….) if you pitch up at any Barnes and Noble book shop with your old ereader and buy a new Nook Touch ereader, they will give you a 2GB memory card loaded up with 30 ebooks for free.
Any old ereader will do…..
It matters not what make of ereader you show them, and they wont try and take it from you, so if you don’t have your own ereader and want to take advantage of this offer, borrow one from a friend………..
I know, almost all ereaders come complete with anything up to 100 free ebooks already installed, but these tend to be a collection of ebooks from Gutenberg, all classics such as Shakespeare, Dickens, Jane Austen and similar, which if you want to have, you can easily download yourself from Gutenberg, or many other free ebook sites anyhow.
These ebooks that B & N are offering tend to be current books, not those tired old classics. They range across a number of genres and B & N claim they are worth a total of $ 315.
To give you an idea of the range, here are a few of the titles they are giving away:-
- The Good Housekeeping Cookbook
- Cristina Ferrare’s Big Bowl of Love
- Creating Your Best Life
- Glory in the Fall: The Greatest Moments in World Series History
- 21st Century Crossword Puzzle Dictionary
- My Boyfriend Wrote a Book About Me
- Secret Garden
- Robinson Crusoe.
And loads more, covering humour, lifestyle, kids books, history and so on.
In itself, this collection isn’t really a sufficient reason to go forth and buy a Nook Touch, but as it is actually a good ereader, why not take advantage of this offer and buy a Nook if you feel the time has come to upgrade your ereading experience?

Price: The Nook Touch costs about $140, depending where you buy it.

Pretty cool written about ebooks! I assume that this collection isn’t really a sufficient reason to go forth and buy a Nook Touch. Thanks a lot
