XinXii and Mondial Media, have just announced that they are going to work together to bring indie writers and self-publishers to the world of mobile phones.
They have agreed to bring ebooks that are published via XinXii to the platforms that Monia Media supply with other forms of media already. What this means in practice is that from now on, authors who publish via XinXii can choose to have their ebooks made available on a number of the world wide platforms that Mondia Media already supply, thus their ebooks can appear on Vodafone live!, T-Mobile T-Zones and Sony Mobile PlayNow.
So anyone who uses any of these systems will be able to browse through the ebooks that XinXii offer via this deal. Obviously a great opportunity for all you indie writers out there to really get your ebooks seen and purchased by readers all over the world, and a real advance on what XinXii already offers you in distribution terms.
From what I gather from what Dr. Andrea Schober, founder and CEO of XinXii tells me, any indie writer who chooses to distribute their work via XinXii can now also choose to have their ebook distributed additionally via the network of Mondia Media – who will apparently do all the payments for ebooks that get sold this way directly to the writer.
XinXii already distributes a vast number of indie ebooks written by authors from about 100 countries, so this is simply another step in their avowed aim of making indie ebooks available in as many countries and via as many channels as possible.
As Dr Andrea Schrober puts it this is a deal that will:
- Brings selected indie literature to the E-Book shops of the international mobile communications providers and hardware manufacturers Vodafone, T-Mobile and Sony.
- XinXii expands its position worldwide as a top address for independent authors and publishers in Europe.
Further “With the continuing expansion of our international distribution channels, we provide authors with the opportunity to offer their E-Books on increasing number of platforms to which they would not have the chance to do so on their own.
XinXii’s aim is to provide as many independent authors as possible with access to readership and reciprocally to make quality indie literature accessible to the readers”.
If you wish to know more about this scheme, simply contact XinXii and they will give you all the relevant details of how to go about this.
